The Hillsborough County After School Program includes adventure, nature, fitness, athletics, and crafts. Each program is carefully planned and designed to ensure each participant has a memorable experience. All After School programs include a character building curriculum that instills good sportsmanship and life lessons through sports, low organized games, team building activities, arts and crafts, on-site events and most importantly, FUN.

We are happy to announce that FREE bus transportation might be available from some schools. In order to show interest in obtaining a spot, you must first register your child as a Recreation After School participant THEN register here. Please make sure the location of your school and community center are accurate.

Hillsborough County Summer Camps include adventure, nature, fitness, athletics, crafts and reading. Each program is carefully planned and designed to ensure each camper experiences a summer to remember. All camps include guest speakers, team sports, low organized games, team building activities, arts and crafts, on-site events and most importantly, FUN. Participants must have completed kindergarten.

Looking to add a new twist to your recreational activities? Look no further than pickleball lessons with Hillsborough County Parks and Recreation! Pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in America, combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping pong, creating a unique and exciting experience for players of all ages and skill levels. Join our enthusiastic staff as they guide you through the ins and outs of pickleball, teaching you the fundamentals, techniques, and strategies that will elevate your game.

This program is designed for you to become comfortable with the game of table tennis, work on your skills and make new friends.

Introducing Toddler P.E., the fantastic parent-supervised program that gets those little ones moving and grooving! Each week, toddlers get to try out different games that help them improve their hand-eye coordination, fine and gross motor skills, and most importantly, have a ton of fun! This program is the perfect opportunity for children aged 2-5 to meet new friends and enjoy some quality playtime. It's a chance for them to socialize, have a great time, and create wonderful memories together.

The Wellness Access Pass provides guests 18 years and up the opportunity to utilize any of our 6 indoor fitness centers across Hillsborough County and to participate in exciting self-directed programming. Examples of self-directed programming may include open gym activities such as pickleball, badminton, volleyball, and more at one of our many locations. The fee for the pass is $10+ tax. Register online or call you preferred recreation facility with questions or for assistance.

It is easy to get started online. Once you log in to your account:

•First, add the Wellness Access Pass to your shopping cart (found under the “Passes, Permits, and Memberships” header, under the “Wellness Access pass” tile) – we suggest selecting the location most convenient for your regular use.
•Next, check out and pay for your pass.
•Then, add as many Wellness Access Pass activities for the period of your Pass (found under the “Activities” header, under the “Wellness Access” tile) to your cart and check out. Guests can register for as many Wellness Access activities as desired and at any location at no additional cost.
•Finally, check out.
•If you have trouble with any of the steps above, don’t hesitate to call us – we will walk you through the process.

You might notice Special Interest Classes that are available periodically at our facilities. Please note that Special Interest Classes are taught by contracted instructors and require an additional fee that is paid directly to the instructor by the participant.

Adaptive basketball is a fast-paced form of basketball. Based on the able-bodied version of the sport, most of the rules, tactics, and plays are the same: court dimensions, basket heights, number of players, playing time, shot clock, scoring, and 3 point line.
